Jordie van Rijn will be one of the keynote speakers at the Email Expo in Frankfurt on 13th May 2014. The largest european email marketing conference and exhibition of its kind. It is looking to be a spectacular event.

I am excited to be a part of the Email Expo and will be presenting a keynote session.

More than 1.800 professionals are expected to visit the Email Expo on 13-14 May 2014. The exhibitor list reads almost like a Who’s Who in email marketing Europe. The speakers will represent some of the best and finest in European email marketing.

A strong channel and an evolving email marketing landscape

Email marketing is evolving at a rapid pace. Attending the conference and exhibition will provide visitors with important insight on best practices, new developments and tools for better email marketing. I am sure that the keynote speakers will be highlighting topics such as;

European Email Marketing Award

So far there was no award in Europe which specifically addressed the issue of email marketing. The E-Mailing-Award 2014 will be awarded for the first time at the E-Mail-Expo.

The award is divided into two categories: Emailing and Newsletter. Emailings are mailings sent out within a specific campaign and often directed at specifically selected target groups. The category “Newsletter” evaluates regular sendings which are often directed to the whole mailing list and usually communicate several different topics.

For the award all applications will be evaluated regarding creativity, attractive design and success of the activity. Each award category will be judged by jury of independent experts. Task of the jury is to consider each application based on the specified criteria and to make proposals for the nomination. The jury will decide on the final winners on the first day of the Email-Expo.
